Liverpool produced one of the performances of the season on Wednesday night as they hammered Manchester City 3-0 in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.
The Reds were superb as Mohamed Saleh, Alex Oxlade-Chamerlain and Sadio Mane all scored to put the Premier League leaders on the brink of an exit from Europe.
The tie is not over yet, though, with City having the home advantage in the second leg and also having beaten Liverpool 5-0 at the Etihad earlier in the season.
It is almost certain to be a thriller when the sides meet again, and it is only next week.
